Smarts Journal is an innovative platform exploring the scientific method in art education through interdisciplinary projects and inquiry-based workshops for students in schools.
The journal presents experimental approaches (SMArtE method) to teaching art, combining creativity, research and hands-on learning. It features Student Projects, classroom experiences and collaborative work with teachers, artists and university researchers.

The purpose of our journal would like to be that of indicating a perspective, an approach. SMartS aims to promote research hypotheses, gather and promote insights, ideas. It does not intend to serve as a space for collecting results for archival purposes; instead, it seeks out the new and aspires to be a creative action.
